Pursuing the Optimized Revenue Engine

Professional Philosophy

As the saying goes, I appreciate the journey as much (or even more) as reaching the destination. This has been a repeating theme over my career and applies whether I am analyzing complex spreadsheets or building relationships to improve alignment and understanding across the business. I want to function as part of a high performing team while also acting as an effective thought leader to push the business towards its long-term goals. I am comfortable operating in spaces that are not always well defined and I endeavor to work with like-minded people who want to pursue excellence and optimistically solve for the problems we need to conquer. A connected culture that helps the idea engine stay revved up while communicating that people are valued above all else is the ideal environment for me.

I am passionate about understanding the customers and how they align to our annual and long-term business imperatives. I am fascinated with how the sales apparatus activity intersects with the customer experience and how that does/does not drive successful outcomes. High interest in annual strategic & budget development to inform how we plan to deploy, compensate, and measure our performance. I am definitely on the high-energy spectrum, very results-oriented, and a leader that strives to translate the big picture into concrete actions to drive alignment, cost savings, profit stability, and improved efficiency.

How do you increase your profit without increasing revenues? By identifying the processes in the business that act inefficiently. Honest analysis of the causes will be the first step towards change.

Cross functional friction is often at the heart of inefficient back office processes. Simple course corrections can often net quick gains if people alignment and tech system synergy can be achieved.

People driven inefficiencies often stem from a lack of equal accountability. The organization has to appraise how to address their people issues without harming the structure of things that work.

A road map outlining the plan for process change has to be effectively understood across the company. A great plan without a strong launch & crisp execution will create more pain and slow adoption.
